Inclusive Language sessions will include baseline education on Gender Identity, how to be more inclusive using language, and how to transform this knowledge into action. The facilitator will focus on the importance of using Inclusive Language and how we can use it daily to be more inclusive.
Participants will explore what Gender Identity is, what it is not, and how folks may experience gender outside the binary. The facilitator will help the group explore how they can support and respect gender-expansive people even if we don’t fully understand their experience of gender.
The design of these sessions allows all participants to familiarize themselves with the concept of Gender Identity, as well as prepare themselves for conversations with clients, co-workers, and the public about Gender Identity. This workshop is broken into two sections 1) education and 2) application.
After this workshop, everyone should leave with the following skills:

- How to use Gender-Affirming Language
- How to use Pronouns correctly and respectfully
